Going camping has quickly become one of our favorite ways to make memories as a family! We just purchased a 2021 Gulf Stream Ameri-Lite Ultra-Lite 274QB. This will be our third camper and we are hoping for this one to last us quite a while. After finally finding this perfect floorplan, my gears immediately started turning on how to make the camper our home away from home! The first room to get some special love is the kids bunk room!
Having a separate bunk room for the kids was non-negotiable. Inevitably it rains at least once every time we go camping. Packing 6-8 people in a small camper is typically not my favorite thing to do. So creating a space for the kids to hang out, play games, and relax was my top priority.

Beddy’s
We use Beddy’s on our beds at home and they are amazing. Using them in the camper not only makes it feel more like home, but they are SO convenient! Being able to zip up the bedding on the bunks will make keeping this space clean and tidy so much easier. The Beddy’s that we used in here are just the standard twin. Since camper bunk mattress are thin, we did use this padding to thicken the mattress, and these Sheet Straps to hold the bedding in place.
Our next project for the camper is the main living space. I have some really fun things planned and I can’t wait to share them with you!
