Room Before The Refresh
Of course there is nothing wrong with her room before! It was cute and a room I would have LOVED as a kid. But I knew it could be better! It was time for a room refresh – especially the flooring. The carpet was not that old, we just built our house in 2017 – but it had to go. It was the last room in our house with carpet and I was so happy to see it out of there. Vinyl flooring is so much easier to keep clean and looks amazing!
Room After The Refresh
She got a lot of new stuff for her room for Christmas, so finding the perfect layout to fit it all was important! We decided to move the bed, which I thought would take up more room at first but it gave us room on each side for nightstands and her bean bag chair! Her room by far has undergone the most changes in the house, but it is SO fun to decorate! One of her first refresh’s can be found HERE. It has changes so much since then! The rest of the house is very neutral and calm, so being able to incorporate pinks and flowers and other little girly details has been awesome!

I did decide to switch out the rug for a smaller, machine washable one. The original rug was an 8×10 and was just too big. So we did a 7×9 instead and I love it!
