Is your Kitchen the Heart of your Home?

Welcome back to part four of my spring home decor tour. I have always heard the kitchen is the heart of the home. That could not be less true for our house. I am the WORST cook. Being that I am such a picky eater, my son as severe food allergies, and my daughter eats like a bird – that leaves my husband typically fending for himself. I could seriously eat cereal for three meals a day and be completely okay with it. I hate cooking, and I hate cleaning up after it. Therefore, this kitchen is mostly for looks! HA.
Here is the view of the kitchen from my entry way. If you missed the tour of my entry way you can find it here. Also click for the living room and dining room details.

Hi, I was wondering where your kitchen cabinets are from? Thanks!
They are from Menards! π
Do you remember the style name of the cabinets? Thanks!! So beautiful π€©
They are from mendards! Klearvue I believe!
Hello!
Iβm obsessed with your island! Do you know what kind of wood and stain you used for it?!
We used Minwax dark walnut!
I noticed above that you said you would send a picture of the island front above if we were to dm you on Instagram. Could you please tell me your Instagram name so I can do that? I am obsessed with it! TIA π
absolutely! its http://www.instagram.com/boldboundlessblonde_
I would like a picture of the front of your island with the white painted part. My email is lilshank07@att.net. Thanks. I love your house!!
I just emailed it to you π
Hello!
I LOVE the light grey couch in your pictures. It looks wonderful with the black and white accents. Where did you buy/find this couch? Iβm looking for something similar.
Thanks!
It is linked on my resources page π
What is your back splash called and where did you get it
It is just standard white subway tile and we used a black grout π
I love your island but my question is what does the front of it look like the one facing the kitchen because thatβs what I have is white cabinets so I was wondering did you paint your cabinets or did you leave them white facing your backside of your kitchen
I left them white! I was worried about it at first, but it actually looks great! If you would like a picture send me a DM on instagram and I can send you one!
How long is the kitchen island?
It is about 10 ft long π
I want your couch!! Where did you get it?
Your house is gorgeous!
Its linked on the resources page of the blog π

Hi! Your home is gorgeous! My husband and I built our home 11 years ago, it’s so hard to believe! When our children are out of the home we plan to build again. I love your open floor plan. Did you design it yourself? I’d love to see the houseplans:)
Hi Brandy! Yes I did design them myself. Unfortunately I don’t have any legitimate house plans because our builder just used what I drew up using “paint” on the computer!
