Week 4 already! Wow, time is seriously flying! This week we have Grout, Trim, & Vanities!
Grouting The Floor
Milestone number one this week was getting the floor grouted. I used Polyblend Plus Sanded Grout from the Home Depot in Artic White. This process was super easy and gave immediate satisfaction of seeing the whole floor come together! I used a rubber grout float to push the grout into the lines, waited 15 minutes for the grout to set, and then wiped it clean with a sponge. Easy peasy. The next day I sealed the grout using THIS. I used this applicator which made it easier to control the sealant and use only as much as I needed.
The Trim
Once I had the floor grouted, I was able to replace the trim and add my battens to my DIY Board and Batten. If you haven’t seen it, I have a tutorial for that HERE. Once all the trim was up I went in with my gorgeous BEHR INCOGNITO paint to finish it up. I am LOVING IT! I still can’t get over the gorgeous Wunderwall Mural. After that, I added floating shelves and some decor.

The Vanities
These S.T.U.N.N.I.N.G. vanities are can be found HERE. They are AMAZING. The built in storage is incredible! However, the only thing that I wanted to change was to add more modern hardware. I ordered THIS HARDWARE on amazon and now they are PERFECT!
Installing new hardware is SO easy – all you need is a screwdriver. Isn’t it crazy how big of a difference hardware can make! Below you will see both vanities side by side. The new hardware goes PERFECT with our new Fortis Faucets. Those are going in next week and I can’t wait to share!! This is quickly becoming one of my favorite reno projects yet!
